What kind of berries are available?

Choose from a rotating selection of exceptional organic strawberries—like Monterey, Albion, Sweet Ann, and Chandler—plus varieties of blueberries, blackberries, and raspberries as they come into season. We will also have occasional specials available —which could include additional berry varietals and/or complementary local produce and products.

How do you come up with the prices?

We partner with our growers to set fair prices. You can think of our prices as equivalent to premium farmer’s market prices. We sell in closed 1 lb clamshells—larger volumes than the open pint containers (~.75 lb) at farmer’s markets.

While we will offer occasional discounts and promotions, our intent is to keep prices relatively steady and predictable throughout the growing season—both for growers and for you.

How do you pay growers?

We're keeping Rootstock lean so we can pay farmers fairly—they’ll get 66 cents on the dollar for their produce, compared to the industry average of just 16 cents.* We allow the grower to focus on growing—Rootstock handles everything else.
